EQUIPMENT GUIDE

My Items

#1 Zoll M Series

Our number one pick is the Zoll M defibrillator. This device is the most cost-effective defibrillator on the market. While it lacks a little in ergonomics, the performance is reliable and proven.

There is an abundance of units, however, we purchase and provide these units at a slightly higher point just to ensure inspection, battery replacement, and biomedical testing, as these will be needed in emergency no failure situations.

We also recommend using reusable defibrillation electrodes (paddles).

#2 Lifepak 12

The Lifepak 12 is the most widely produced and recognized defibrillator in the market. This is a very reliable device with many parts available, lots of service options, and will get the job done. It is important to note that each device has a certain number of parameters that it was built with. It is important to make sure that the one you get has all of the parameters built in.

That being said, it is important to note that these units are often older and certainly dated as well. The most important thing is to make sure that the batteries are inspected every several years for liability, as well as overall biomedical inspection. They are inexpensive and a must-have device for any clinic or hospital.

These devices have been replaced by the new Likepak 15. These are very expensive and have the exact same features and performance. The only changes are a color monitor and a sleeker black gray color scheme.

#3 Phillips Heartstart MRX

The Phillips Heartstart MRx is also a decent option as well. It is a little less common than the other main brands, and therefore can be often found for good prices.

It is important to note that there were a few recalls issued. Make sure the device you acquire or purchase is able to get replaced if it is within those years.
